01The person behind the code
I’m Marouane, a Computer Science & AI student at Arts et Métiers with a love for understanding how things work, and making them work better.
My interests sit where software meets intelligence. I enjoy the full journey: breaking down a problem, designing a system, and bringing it to life through clean, useful software.
Outside a code editor, you’ll find me tackling programming challenges, volunteering, gaming, or listening to music. Curiosity tends to follow me everywhere.

AI & Computer Vision
Real-time non-conformity detection for industrial assembly.
Capstone research project supervised by LISPEN lab professors at Arts et Métiers. Built an end-to-end computer vision pipeline using YOLO and OpenCV to detect assembly non-conformities and non-compliant parts in real time.
Healthcare AI & Voice
Clinical AI safety assistant reducing point-of-prescription errors.
Top 10 Worldwide finish at the Mistral AI Hackathon. A multi-modal voice agent that ingests medical charts via Mistral OCR, tracks patient context, and performs deterministic real-time drug safety evaluations using Mistral Large and ElevenLabs WebSockets.
Full-stack
A storefront built for a real business.
A keyboard e-commerce platform for a client in Morocco. Built the browsing and purchasing experience with React, TypeScript, and an Express.js backend.
Systems
Back to the foundations of the web.
An HTTP server written from scratch in C. Handles concurrent requests and serves static files, exploring what happens beneath the frameworks we use every day.
Full-stack
Making the application journey clearer.
Developed during my ONEE internship: a full-stack platform where candidates can explore job offers, submit applications, and follow their application status.

Swedish Dialogue Institute for Middle East & North Africa
Selected as an international fellow for a cross-regional leadership initiative bringing together emerging leaders, researchers, and policy-makers across Europe and the MENA region. Participated in high-level working sessions in Stockholm and Amman to drive collaborative action around responsible AI deployment, youth inclusion, and policy innovation.

Competed in the school’s competitive programming contest and won third prize in two consecutive editions.

Pitched 7a9i – Know Your Right, a platform designed to help Moroccans understand their legal rights.
Mistral AI Worldwide Hackathon
Co-developed MediCore AI, a voice-first clinical safety assistant combining Mistral OCR, Mistral Large, and ElevenLabs. Ranked in the top 10 globally out of 200+ submissions.
